Part of the plausible Santa lore in my family, that I created to expand beyond the average consumer capitalism of Santa in America for my kids, is that once Santa has delivered all presents for the year, the whole organization goes on a surf holiday in Tahiti beginning Twelfth Night or Epiphany, January 6th. Recognizing that Climate Change is a real threat, they may not have to travel so far from home for those temps and waves.
