Knit from recycled t-shirt yarns (t-shirts being a human indicator species of over production) sometimes natural dyed or non-chlorine shifted for variegation. Each is hand knit, with color patterns and variations selected that make reference to their survival distresses mixed with protective ojo de dios color patterns on some of their underbellies.

Starfish are a climate indicator species that have suffered water warming and ocean acidification related wasting diseases that compromise their neuromuscular systems ability to cling and regenerate healthy limbs.
