A once a month art wrap selection sent directly to you from La Techxicana Studio. A way to intentionally and sustainably switch up your gift wrapping practices. You will receive from amongst all resist art wraps, textile serigraph editions, stamped pattern editions, and hand painted editions. All are dyed or printed with 100% natural dyes and tannins.

The Seasonal Forage Resists are itajime resist patterns dyed with varieties of tannins and locally foraged natural dyes from the studio garden, art travels, or our kitchen compost. Current Texas locals include: Passionvine, Loquat, Black Bean, and Yellow Onion.

The Traditional Colors Resists are itajime, shibori, and stitch resist patterns dyed with varieties of tannins and long standing traditional dyes like Madder, Buckthorn, Indigo, and Weld, and Logwood.

The Textile Serigraphs are pop culture, sacred geometry, and Tex-Mex inspired screenprinted editions, some more activist, some more seasonal, some just for fun.

Dyed on reclaimed cotton sheet in Egyptian, Indian, Pima, Flannel, and Sateen versions of cotton sheet at varied weights, the original luster remains throughout the process, and the differences in thread count uniquely soak up the dye. Occassionally, there will be linen or hemp cotton blend editions available too.

Everyday art gift wraps may be used like traditional Japanese furoshiki to transport everyday items like books or lunch, or to wrap gifts from small bundles items like soaps to larger wine bottles, and are easy to fold and store. Popular as a sustainable, reusable, and environmentally friendly updates to paper gift and plastic wrap. Light enough to be worn as a hair wrap or bandana or wall displayed.
